Job Summary
The Business Projects Coordinator (BPC), reporting to the Deputy Rector – Administration, will lead the planning, coordination, and execution of college business projects. This role ensures that projects are financially viable, efficient, and aligned with institutional policy. The BPC serves as the liaison among finance, stakeholders, and business units, while overseeing marketing efforts and service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Planning
- Lead MEAL (Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, Learning) activities.
- Develop business plans, budgets, and marketing strategies.
- Launch diversified projects targeting new and existing markets.
Project Management
- Recruit, train, and supervise project staff.
- Oversee daily operations and ensure project profitability.
- Monitor budgets and schedules.
- Manage supply chain and inventory systems.
Stakeholder Engagement

Craft and implement stakeholder communication plans.

Marketing Management

Qualifications
Education
- Master’s in Business Administration, Business Management, or related field.
- Bachelor’s degree in the same fields is acceptable with more experience.
Experience
- With Master’s Degree: Minimum 2 years in business project coordination or a related role.
- With Bachelor’s Degree: Minimum 5 years in strategic planning, monitoring, or administration.
- Financial reporting and sector-specific experience (retail, hospitality, agriculture) is advantageous.
