Position Summary

Lesana Financial Services is seeking a diligent and qualified Statutory & Compliance Officer to oversee regulatory compliance across its operations. This position is vital in ensuring that the company adheres to all applicable laws, policies, and governance frameworks in the financial services industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure ongoing compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements
• Prepare and submit regulatory filings and documentation on time
• Interpret and implement legal and policy updates impacting operations
• Provide internal compliance support and training to staff
• Maintain updated compliance policies and documentation
• Liaise with regulators and ensure audit readiness at all times
• Report on compliance breaches and recommend corrective actions

Requirements & Qualifications

• Education: A relevant undergraduate degree (preferably BA Law, LLB, or equivalent)
• Certifications: A Compliance Officer’s Examination certificate will be an added advantage
• Experience: Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in a compliance/legal role
• Industry Background: Prior experience in the financial services sector is essential
