Position Overview

Nedbank Lesotho is seeking a skilled and forward-thinking IT Infrastructure & Innovation Administrator to join its dynamic technology team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the bank’s IT systems and supporting innovation efforts across departments. This is a critical role for ensuring uptime, improving performance, and integrating modern technologies into operational frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and maintain core IT infrastructure systems including servers, networks, and cloud-based platforms
• Implement and support technology-driven innovations that improve efficiency and service delivery
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime
• Ensure information security and compliance with industry standards
• Provide technical support to internal teams and participate in strategic IT planning
• Assist in the research and implementation of emerging technologies for banking services

Required Qualifications and Skills

• A degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
• Proven experience in IT systems administration, networking, and cybersecurity
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms, virtualization, and backup technologies
• Ability to manage and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced financial environment
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Certification in Cisco, Microsoft, or ITIL will be an added advantage
