Position Summary
We are looking for a dedicated Health and Safety Officer to join our Surveillance and Security department. This role plays a vital part in protecting our people, assets, and property by ensuring strict compliance with the Occupational Safety and Health Act, 2024, and internal safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
Compliance Management
- Ensure full compliance with OSHA and internal SOPs
- Lead safety training, risk assessments, and PPE usage oversight
- Maintain strong audit outcomes (80%+ target)
- Deliver accurate safety reports and risk mitigation insights
Investigations & Reporting
- Conduct timely investigations into workplace incidents
- Submit compliant monthly reports on incidents and injuries
- Keep complete safety records for 5 years
- Provide actionable prevention recommendations
Health & Safety Audits
- Perform and document audits in line with best practices
- Address and follow up on audit findings and risks
- Drive measurable improvements in safety outcomes

What You’ll Need
- LGCSE (COSC)
- Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety (or related field)
- 2+ years’ experience in a similar H&S role
- Deep knowledge of OSHA regulations
- Strong communication, leadership, and reporting skills
- High attention to detail and critical thinking ability
- Confidence using MS Office and safety technology platforms

- Energetic and solutions-oriented
- Comfortable working in high-performance, time-sensitive environments
- Able to engage across teams and levels with confidence
