Leadership Opportunity in Higher Education Quality Assurance – Lesotho
The Council on Higher Education (CHE) is seeking a visionary and results-driven leader to join its team as Director: Quality Assurance.

Location: Maseru, Lesotho
Deadline: 2 May 2025, 4:00 PM

Purpose of the Role:
The Director will lead the Quality Assurance Directorate in aligning institutional audits, accreditation, and quality systems with the Higher Education Act of 2004 and the Lesotho Qualifications Framework (LQF). This pivotal role influences the strategic direction of higher education quality standards nationally and beyond.

Minimum Requirements:

• Master’s degree in Educational Management or a related field
• At least 10 years of relevant work experience, with 5 years at managerial level in higher education
• Deep knowledge of global and regional higher education systems, accreditation, and quality assurance
• Strong strategic, negotiation, and communication skills
