About the Role
Maseru City Council is seeking a qualified and experienced Works Engineer to oversee engineering site operations and support the City Engineer in infrastructure development. This role is essential to ensuring effective planning, execution, and monitoring of road construction and maintenance projects within the city.

Join Now- Supervise road construction, rehabilitation, and repairs to reduce vehicle operational costs
- Ensure economic use and acquisition of road construction equipment
- Develop and implement resource-efficient road maintenance plans
- Coordinate with design engineers to ensure smooth site implementation
- Re-measure contractor site works to verify quantities completed
- Conduct and lead regular site meetings with contractors
- Compile and submit weekly progress reports
- Manage labour-based teams to maintain high-quality standards
- Execute additional duties as assigned by the Head of Department
Minimum Requirements
- A recognized degree in Civil Engineering
- Minimum 4 years’ experience, primarily in road design and construction
- Proficient in CAD software and FIDIC documentation
- Strong reporting, coordination, and team supervision skills
