Job Summary

FNB Lesotho is seeking a Payroll Consultant to manage the accuracy and timely processing of payroll information and maintain strong relationships with clients. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all payroll data is correctly captured and processed, resolving complex queries, and ensuring regulatory compliance across payroll functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure on-time delivery and accuracy of payroll data captured into client systems

• Review, analyze, and validate payroll reports; process journal entries for adjustments

• Manage wage/salary account fund adjustments and balance corrections

• Resolve complex payroll queries from employees or third parties

• Develop and recommend updates to payroll policies and procedures

• Compile internal and external payroll, tax, and financial reports

• Coordinate payroll training sessions for internal consultants and departments

• Serve as liaison with government bodies on compensation and statutory deduction matters

Candidate Profile

• Proven experience in payroll management or consulting

• Strong analytical, reconciliation, and reporting skills

  
  
  

• Excellent communication and client relationship management abilities

• Sound knowledge of tax laws, payroll regulations, and audit procedures

• Ability to work under pressure and deliver accurate results within tight deadlines

• Strong ethical standards and confidentiality handling sensitive data
