Job Title: Business Development Accounts Executive
Location: Maseru, with extensive travel required
Reports To: Short Term Manager
Role Overview:
As a Business Development Accounts Executive in the Short Term Department, your main focus will be driving revenue growth by identifying new opportunities, acquiring clients, and building strong relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and target potential clients in the broking and financial services industry.
- Build and maintain relationships with current and potential clients.
- Understand client insurance needs and recommend tailored solutions.
- Conduct market research to find growth opportunities and trends.
- Generate leads through networking, referrals, and online channels.
- Meet or exceed sales targets by promoting brokerage services.
- Deliver presentations and sales pitches to convert leads into clients.
- Provide competitor insights and suggest innovative strategies.
- Ensure compliance standards during client onboarding.
- Prepare regular sales reports and client feedback summaries.
- Use CRM tools to manage client and prospect information.
- Develop and implement client engagement and feedback mechanisms.

Qualifications and Experience:
- Diploma in Insurance or B. Com in Insurance; a relevant degree is an advantage.
- Professional insurance qualification (Associate or Fellow of the Chartered Insurance Institute) is essential.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in corporate, commercial, and personal insurance.
- In-depth knowledge of Corporate, Commercial, and Personal Lines Insurance Products, including:
- Assets and Income
- Business Combined
- Fire Policy
- Construction All Risks
- Workmen Compensation
- Stated Benefits
- Fiduciary Liabilities
- Motor Fleets
- Minimum 2 years of driving experience.
