Career Opportunity – IT Infrastructure Manager

We are looking for an experienced professional to lead a team of technical experts and team leaders in supporting key business objectives. This role plays a crucial part in managing the Bank’s IT infrastructure, innovation initiatives, and core processes, while also providing technical expertise for projects, new business models, and value streams.

Job Purpose

The IT Infrastructure Manager will drive operational excellence, optimize IT processes, and support business growth by ensuring efficient IT solutions. The role also focuses on client satisfaction, cost-effective IT operations, and stakeholder engagement to enhance service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a team of technical specialists to support the Bank’s IT objectives.
• Improve business and IT collaboration to enhance client satisfaction.
• Support continuous improvement processes to increase operational efficiency.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and stakeholders.
• Provide input for IT budget planning in line with Finance requirements.
• Ensure IT infrastructure aligns with strategic goals for flexibility and cost efficiency.
• Meet business performance targets while adhering to risk and compliance standards.
• Oversee IT asset inventory and proactive maintenance.
• Develop team capabilities and ensure business continuity through skill enhancement.

Qualifications and Certifications

Minimum Qualification:

• Advanced Diploma/National First Degree in a relevant field.

Preferred Qualification:

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering (Computer Systems & Networks/Electronics).
• A Postgraduate Degree in Computer Science or Management is an added advantage.

Essential Certifications:

• Advanced MS Package Qualifications
• ITIL Certification
• Infrastructure-related certifications
• TOGAF (Advanced)
• PMBOK or Prince2
• Relevant IT Industry Certifications

Technical Skills & Expertise

• Strong understanding of project management principles.
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance in IT operations.
• Experience in drafting Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
• Proficiency in client service management and reporting tools.
• Knowledge across multiple technologies and Office 365.
• Experience in leading IT teams and managing IT operations.

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 6 years in IT Operations.
• At least 4 years in a managerial role overseeing IT functions.
