Partners In Health (PIH) is launching a multi country TB study to generate an evidence on the TB response approach called Research to Enhance Screening Outcomes in Lesotho and Vietnam to End TB (RESOLVE TB). The study will be conducted in Lesotho and Vietnam. The RESOLVE TB study will address knowledge gaps in efforts to search for, treat, and prevent (STP) tuberculosis (TB) and post-TB sequelae by leveraging robust community TB screening programs and partnerships with TB treatment programs in Lesotho and Vietnam. RESOLVE-TB is supported by generous anonymous donors at Partners In Health (PIH) and implemented in collaboration with PIH-Lesotho, Harvard Medical School, Brigham and Women’s Hospital, FIT (Vietnam), and national TB programs.

The organization further has the N2 Project that focuses on essential investments aimed at improving the safety, functionality, and dignity of PH-supported health facilities to enhance the delivery of quality patient care. The initiative seeks to strengthen healthcare infrastructure and operational systems in alignment with the One Strategic Plan, specifically contributing to Pathway 1: Building Resilient Health Systems. Through these investments, the project aims to create safe, efficient, and patient-centered healthcare environments that support sustainable health outcomes and resilient service delivery.

The organization is therefore seeking suitably qualified and competent candidates to fill the following positions in the RESOLVE and NNP2 Projects:

PIH Lesotho is seeking a Research Manager to lead and coordinate multi-site clinical research activities for the RESOLVE-TB study. This role serves as a central node connecting research sites, partners, and operational teams across sites. The Research Manager will oversee study implementation, regulatory compliance, data quality, and cross-site coordination while ensuring alignment with project milestones. This role is critical to maintaining high-quality research operations and facilitating collaboration across global teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and standardize study activities, workflows, and trainings across multiple sites
  • Oversee multi-center study implementation and ensure readiness for audits, regulatory submissions, and site visits
  • Develop and track project timelines and milestones in collaboration with PIs and project leadership
  • Conduct site initiation, monitoring, and close-out visits and consortium meetings
  • Supervise study coordinator in Lesotho
  • Ensure collaboration and communication with TB Elimination activities in Lesotho.
  • Manage ethics and regulatory submissions, approvals, and protocol amendments across all sites with study teams
  • Maintain strict version control of study documents and ensure compliance with human subjects protections (HRSP) and Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines
  • Ensure proper documentation, storage, and audit readiness of study materials
  • Manage regulatory documentation and IRB approvals.
  • Develop new study forms and tools as needed.
  • Monitor study data and site operations to identify gaps and implement corrective actions
  • Lead quality assurance and quality control efforts in collaboration with data teams
  • Support implementation of systems improvements and cross-site learning
  • Serve as the primary point of communication across international research teams and partners
  • Lead and facilitate meetings across multiple time zones
  • Mentor and support site coordinators and research staff, including training and professional development
  • Support personnel planning and team capacity building
  • Contribute to funder reports, study documentation, and research dissemination activities
  • Support preparation of presentations, manuscripts, and operational reports
  • Travel internationally for site visits, trainings, and consortium meetings

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in health sciences or a related field
  • Master of Public Health or a related field
  • 5 years of experience in clinical research coordination, including project or team management
  • Experience with TB or infectious diseases studies.
  • Strong knowledge of HSRP and GCP
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness and ability to travel internationally
  • Strong Commitment to social justice
  • Must be able to travel overseas.
