We’re Hiring: Social Media Intern | Remote | Global School Leaders

Are you a sharp communicator and visual thinker passionate about education, storytelling, and equity?
Global School Leaders (GSL) is looking for a Social Media Intern to help shape our global digital presence and amplify the voices of school leaders working on the frontlines of education transformation.

Position: Social Media Intern
Commitment: 10–15 hours/week (flexible)
Location: Remote (Preference given to candidates based in the Global South)
Remuneration: Competitive hourly rate, aligned with cost of living in your location

What You’ll Do:

• Design, draft, and publish engaging social media content (posts, stories, videos, reels)
• Analyze social media metrics to inform content strategy
• Support campaign execution and email marketing
• Organize mailing lists and digital assets
• Repurpose and adapt existing content in creative formats

What We’re Looking For:

• Degree in Communications, Marketing, or relevant experience
• Proficiency in Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter
• Strong writing skills tailored to different platforms and audiences
• Experience with Canva, Mailchimp, Adobe tools or similar
• Creative mindset with visual and storytelling instincts
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently in a remote setting

Preferred (But Not Required):

• Experience in nonprofit, education, or social impact sectors
• Background working across cultures or Global South contexts
• Familiarity with communications strategy, scheduling, or content calendars
