Job Summary
The Assistant Lecturer will work with the Head of Department. You will teach and check student work in Sesotho. You will also help improve lessons and support the goals of the college.

Main Duties

• Teach lessons, check work, and give helpful feedback.
• Go to workshops, talks, and meetings for teacher growth.
• Make lesson plans and make sure they are easy to use.
• Join in team talks about how to teach and what to improve.
• Do research that helps teachers and learners do better.
• Keep records of student work on time.
• Help students with questions and give advice.
• Watch how students teach during their school visits.
• Join staff training and skill-building programs.
• Do any other tasks given by your boss or the college.

Qualifications and Experience
You must have a Master’s degree in Linguistics or in teaching Sesotho.
You must have taught for 3 or more years.
It helps if you can also teach another African language.
