Request for Proposals (RFP): External Auditor Services
Organization: Habitat for Humanity Lesotho (HFHL)
Service Period: 12 months (July 2024 to June 2025)
Submission Label: “External Auditor Services – HFHL FY2025”
Purpose of the Engagement
HFHL is inviting proposals from licensed and experienced external audit firms to provide independent external audit services for the financial year ending June 30, 2025 (covering 12 months from July 2024 to June 2025).
The selected firm will conduct the audit in accordance with the Lesotho Institute of Accountants (LIA) standards and submit a detailed audit report on HFHL’s financial statements, aligning with both internal governance requirements and donor expectations.

Join Now- Valid business registration and practicing license
- Membership certificate from the Lesotho Institute of Accountants (LIA)
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience auditing NGOs and donor-funded projects
- Proven knowledge of non-profit financial reporting frameworks
- Strong ethical standing and commitment to LIA audit standards
- Submission of a company profile with referees
Safeguarding Policy
Habitat for Humanity Lesotho maintains a zero-tolerance policy toward any form of abuse, exploitation, or misconduct. All external auditors must commit to HFHL’s Safeguarding Principles, which emphasize the protection of children and vulnerable adults. Shortlisted firms must sign the HFHL Safeguarding Declaration and demonstrate adherence to ethical and professional codes of conduct.
