We are looking for an enthusiastic Shop Assistant / Cashier to join our retail team in Maseru. If you are passionate about delivering excellent customer service and creating memorable shopping experiences, this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately process sales at the point of sale (POS)
• Maintain cash handling and till balancing procedures
• Enroll and promote Clicks ClubCard to boost participation
• Inform customers of ongoing promotions and value offers
• Ensure high merchandising standards and tidy store layout
• Act as a brand ambassador and deliver excellent service
• Keep product knowledge up-to-date to better assist customers

Requirements

Education:

• Essential: Grade 12
• Desirable: 50% or above in English and Mathematics at Grade 12 level

Experience:

• Desirable: Previous experience in retail or customer-facing role (FMCG/Retail)

Skills & Competencies

• Strong customer orientation and communication skills
• Attention to detail and numeracy skills
• Basic understanding of retail merchandising principles
• Computer literacy and ability to use POS systems
• Ability to handle pressure and follow procedures reliably
