About the Project:
The Government of Lesotho, through the Ministry of Tourism, Sports, Arts and Culture, is undertaking an ambitious project to refurbish and upgrade Setsoto Stadium into a world-class, 30,000+ seater stadium aligned with FIFA and CAF standards. This project will create a modern multi-purpose venue capable of hosting major international sporting and cultural events.

Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Project Manager to lead the successful execution of the Setsoto Stadium project. The Project Manager will oversee the full lifecycle of the project — from planning and design through to construction and handover — ensuring on-time, within-budget, and quality-compliant delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
🔹 Manage project planning, construction supervision, and coordination with multiple stakeholders
🔹 Oversee quality assurance and ensure strict compliance with FIFA, CAF, and local standards
🔹 Administer financial planning, budgeting, and reporting activities
🔹 Lead risk management, proactively identifying and mitigating project risks
🔹 Manage stakeholder relationships, regulatory compliance, and environmental standards
🔹 Deliver a complete project closeout, including handover and commissioning

Ideal Candidate Profile:
✅ Minimum of 15 years of experience managing large-scale construction projects (stadiums or similar preferred)
✅ Proven track record with FIFA/CAF compliant projects
✅ Strong leadership, communication, financial, and risk management skills
✅ Experience navigating legal, environmental, and safety regulations
✅ Ability to drive complex, multi-stakeholder projects to successful completion

Compulsory Requirements:

• Site Inspection: 30 April 2025, 10:00 AM at Setsoto Stadium main gate

• Q&A Session: Immediately after site inspection at BDS Conference Room, 3rd Floor, Moshoeshoe Road, Industrial Area, Maseru
