About the Role
We are seeking a motivated District Project Coordinator to oversee the implementation of the LEAP START project in Mokhotlong District. The successful candidate will manage early childhood development activities, work closely with the District Health Management Team (DHMT), and ensure alignment with national frameworks and community goals.

  • Integrate ECD into RMNCAH services at selected health facilities
  • Plan, coordinate, and implement ECD interventions
  • Support capacity building within communities and local stakeholders
  • Mentor community health and education teams in collaboration with DHMT
  • Improve caregiver knowledge and access to health and nutrition services
  • Supervise project activities and consolidate regular reports for the Project Manager
  • Coordinate local surveys, partnerships, and project evaluations
  • Ensure efficient use of project materials and compliance with financial procedures
  • Conduct site visits and support partner congregations
  • Manage communications, documentation, and community engagement

Partnership & Communication Focus

  • Identify capacity gaps and lead training initiatives with partners
  • Provide feedback and support to partner organizations
  • Develop and share IEC materials and learning content
  • Report on success stories, M&E insights, and lessons learned

Required Competencies

  • Strong computer, writing, and communication skills
  • Team player with reliability, punctuality, and self-motivation
  • Ability to thrive in a complex, field-based setting
  • Fluent in both Sesotho and English (written and spoken)

Qualifications



  • Degree in Nursing, Early Childhood Development, Social Work, Public Health, or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of field experience in ECD or MNCH, particularly working with children aged 0–5
