About LCA
The Lesotho Communications Authority (LCA) was established under the Communications Act No. 4 of 2012 to regulate Lesotho’s communications sector. Governed by a seven-member Board, the Authority is empowered to form Committees and appoint Independent Experts to support its oversight functions.

Position Summary
The Authority invites applications for the role of Independent Expert on the Human Resources & Remuneration Committee (HRRC).

Working alongside the Committee Chairperson and Members, the selected Expert will provide professional guidance in:

• Developing and reviewing HR and remuneration strategies and policies

• Supporting the implementation of fair and competitive staff compensation frameworks

• Ensuring alignment with the Code of Conduct and good corporate governance practices

Qualifications and Experience

• A Master’s degree in Human Resources Management or a related field

• At least 5 years of executive management experience

• Experience and insight in Boardroom practice and committee participation

Eligibility Criteria

• Open to Basotho nationals with the required qualifications and experience

• Applicants must not have any direct commercial interests in the communications sector

Remuneration
This is a non-executive, independent role and attracts a sitting allowance for each meeting attended.
