WINGS, a global network of 200+ philanthropy organisations across 60 countries, is seeking a dynamic and strategic Head of Policy and Advocacy to lead the organisation’s global policy efforts and influence key international development platforms.

🔍 Key Responsibilities:

Strategy & Leadership

• Design and implement a global policy and advocacy strategy

• Track policy trends and provide high-level strategic insight

• Oversee impactful reports, briefings, and policy positioning

Global Advocacy

• Represent WINGS at the UN, G20, GPEDC, and other multilateral forums

• Strengthen global networks and relationships with policymakers

• Lead delegations, dialogues, and coalitions on the global stage

Team & Collaboration

• Manage a distributed policy and advocacy team

• Partner with internal teams to integrate advocacy across programmes

• Build capacity for policy engagement within the WINGS network

✅ Requirements:

• Master’s degree in public policy, global affairs, or related field

  
  
  

• 7+ years of experience in global philanthropy, civil society, or development

• Deep knowledge of international financing frameworks, UN systems, and global governance

  
  
  

• Demonstrated experience influencing policy and building multilateral partnerships

• Strong research, communication, and leadership skills

• Fluency in English (additional languages an asset)

• Experience working with multilateral organisations or development banks is a plus
