Position Overview

Alliance Group Investment Holding Company is seeking a qualified and motivated Audit and Risk Officer to join its Audit and Risk team. The role supports the identification, assessment, monitoring, and reporting of internal controls and risk exposures, ensuring the company operates within its risk appetite and complies with relevant regulations and internal policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct internal audits in line with the approved audit plan.

• Evaluate the efficiency and effectiveness of internal controls and ensure policy compliance.

• Support investigations into irregularities and audit findings.

• Monitor the implementation of audit recommendations and action plans.

• Assess business continuity preparedness and update contingency plans.

• Maintain and update operational and financial risk registers.

• Support periodic risk reporting and audit reporting processes.

• Monitor regulatory developments and apply best practices in audit and risk functions.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Internal Auditing, Accounting, Finance, Risk Management, or related field.

• Basic knowledge of risk management principles and internal controls.

  
  
  

• 0–2 years’ experience in audit and/or risk-related roles (Graduate Trainee level acceptable).

• Added advantages:

  • Business Continuity Management exposure

  • Health and Safety experience

    
    
    

  • Professional certifications (CIA, CISA, CRMA, CA, etc.)

Technical and Behavioral Competencies

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  
  
  

• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).

• Ability to maintain confidentiality, demonstrate integrity, and adhere to professional ethics.

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

• Familiarity with audit and risk-related software.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
