About the Role

Key Qualifications

A minimum of 5 years’ consultancy experience in energy access or related fields

A Master’s degree in Energy, Engineering, Economics, or other relevant disciplines

Strong understanding of gender-energy nexus and demonstrated experience on related projects

Proven ability to conduct primary research in energy access and associated themes

In-depth knowledge of energy policy and regulatory frameworks

Familiarity with off-grid energy markets in Africa, especially within the COMESA region

Established professional network in relevant sectors

Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English
