Location: Maluti Adventist College, Mapoteng, Lesotho

Maluti Adventist College (MAC) is a faith-based tertiary institution affiliated with the Seventh-day Adventist Church. We are committed to excellence in education and holistic student development. Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced candidates for the position of Deputy Rector Financial Administration.

Note: This position is open only to baptized members in good standing of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, who uphold the values and mission of MAC.

Key Responsibilities

The Deputy Rector – Financial Administration will oversee the full financial management of the institution and provide leadership to operations and administrative support functions. Responsibilities include:

• Managing all college funds and deposits in approved financial institutions

• Preparing and presenting the annual institutional budget and fee structure

• Administering capital funds and overseeing procurement processes

• Supervising staff housing, infrastructure maintenance, and equipment

• Managing student employment and compensation

• Overseeing auxiliary departments and campus industries

• Ensuring effective debt collection and expenditure controls

  
  
  

• Leading strategic financial planning and policy communication

• Managing security, safety protocols, and insurance coverage

• Developing labor policies and compliance with employment legislation

• Issuing regular financial statements and reports

  
  
  

• Serving on various committees related to finance and operations

• Performing any additional duties as assigned by the Rector

  
  
  

Minimum Qualifications and Experience

• Master’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field

• At least 5 years’ experience in a senior financial management role

• Demonstrated leadership in institutional financial operations

Licensing and Certification

• Registered with the Lesotho Institute of Accountants or

• A recognized equivalent body (for international applicants)

Remuneration

A competitive salary and benefits package will be offered based on experience and qualifications.
