Eden Foods, a growing player in the food production and distribution sector, is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated individual for the position of Finance Officer (Trainee). This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate to gain practical experience in financial management within a dynamic business environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation

• Perform reconciliations of accounts to ensure up-to-date and precise financial data

• Process invoices, payment requests, and expense forms

• Organize, file, and manage accounting documents and tax records

• Submit statutory obligations, including taxes and levies, in a timely manner

• Operate and manage the company’s accounting software systems

• Support customs clearance processes for incoming goods

  
  
  

• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and financial reports

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) in Accounting, General Accounting, or a related field

• Knowledge of SAGE 1 accounting software is an added advantage

• Possession of a valid driver’s licence will be considered an asset
