Position Title: Motor Grader Operator
Entity: Roads Directorate
Location: Headquarters – Industrial Area, Maseru (Opposite Browns Cash & Carry Supermarket)

The Roads Directorate is inviting applications from suitably qualified and experienced candidates to fill the vacant position of Motor Grader Operator. This is a key operational role, contributing directly to the quality and efficiency of road construction and maintenance projects across the Directorate.

Minimum Qualifications and Requirements

• Operator Certificate in Motor Grader Operation

• Minimum educational qualification of Form E

• Valid EC/EC1 driver’s licence with a clean driving record

• 3 to 5 years’ relevant experience operating plant and machinery, specifically motor graders

• Strong safety awareness and adherence to operational standards

• Demonstrated ability to work independently in field-based roles

Key Responsibilities (summary)

• Operate motor graders and other related equipment in road construction and maintenance

• Perform pre-operational checks and routine servicing of assigned equipment

• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and project guidelines

• Maintain accurate logbooks and daily operational records
