Thabeng Hotel is inviting applications from qualified culinary professionals to join our expanding kitchen team. We are currently seeking two experienced Griller Chefs to bring their expertise, energy, and precision to our grill section.

About the Role

As a Griller Chef, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality grilled dishes that meet our culinary standards. You will work in a fast-paced kitchen environment and collaborate closely with fellow chefs and kitchen assistants to ensure timely service, consistency, and creativity.

This is an exciting opportunity for chefs who specialize in grilling techniques and want to be part of a team that values quality, discipline, and innovation in food preparation.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare a wide variety of grilled dishes in line with the restaurant’s menu and presentation standards

• Monitor grill stations and ensure all food is cooked to order and served on time

• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the grill area and ensure all safety protocols are followed

• Collaborate with the kitchen team to manage prep work, portions, and food storage efficiently

• Assist in maintaining stock levels and report any supply needs to the Head Chef or Kitchen Supervisor

Requirements

• 3–4 years of proven experience working in a professional kitchen, with specific expertise in grilling

• Strong understanding of grilling temperatures, meat doneness levels, and grill station operations

• Ability to thrive in a high-pressure environment while maintaining attention to detail

• Preference will be given to male candidates, based on current team composition
