Job Summary

Revenue Services Lesotho (RSL) is looking for a passionate and experienced leader to manage border operations at Maseru Bridge. The successful candidate will be responsible for customs process implementation, stakeholder engagement, and revenue collection optimization, ensuring voluntary compliance and enhanced social protection.

Key Responsibilities

• Align sectional plans and initiatives with RSL’s strategic goals.
• Act as a focal point for all Frontier Services issues, ensuring seamless communication within the department and with stakeholders.
• Provide mentorship and coaching to the team by setting performance targets and offering constructive feedback.
• Collaborate with Partner Agencies to ensure joint interventions on prohibitions and restrictions, following all policies, procedures, and agreements.
• Oversee the implementation of financial controls and revenue collection procedures, ensuring accountability and compliance.

Qualifications & Experience

Candidates must possess one of the following:

Option 1

• Postgraduate Degree in Law, Auditing, Taxation, Business Management, Administration, Economics, or Accounting.
• Three (3) years’ relevant experience in tax administration and compliance, with at least two (2) years in a managerial or supervisory role.

Option 2

• Bachelor’s Degree in Law, Auditing, Taxation, Business Management, Administration, Economics, or Accounting.
• Five (5) years’ relevant experience in tax administration and compliance, with at least three (3) years in a managerial or supervisory role.
