Job Summary
The Organizational Development (OD) Officer will work under the supervision of the Organizational Development Manager, focusing on restructuring, reorganization, and strategic planning within ministries. The role includes conducting management audits, supervising staff, and preparing work plans to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities
- Reorganization and Restructuring
- Conduct management audits and strategic planning studies to enhance organizational efficiency.
- Prepare audit and strategic planning reports after each consultancy to improve staffing deployment.
- Present audit findings and strategic reports to ministries for approval and implementation.
- Monitor the implementation of recommendations to ensure performance improvement.
- Supervision and Management of Staff
- Supervise and guide Assistant OD Officers to meet divisional objectives.
- Provide quarterly reports on staff activities to the OD Manager.
- Conduct biannual performance appraisals for supervised staff.
- Preparation of Work Plans
- Develop an annual work plan in consultation with the OD Manager.
- Approve work plans for supervised staff to align with departmental objectives.

Join NowCandidates must possess one of the following qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Public Administration, or Business Administration plus two (2) years of experience in a related field.
- Postgraduate Diploma/Honours in HRM, Public Administration, or Business Administration plus three (3) years of experience in a related field.
- BA Degree in HR Management, Public Administration, or Business Administration plus five (5) years of experience in a related field.
