POSITION: Legal Officer – Law Interpretation (1 Vacancy)

Purpose of the Role

The Legal Officer will interpret tax laws through research and analysis, ensuring a fair revenue system and encouraging voluntary compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Research and study revenue laws to provide accurate legal guidance.
• Respond to law interpretation queries from revenue departments.
• Develop interpretation notes and conduct workshops for stakeholders.
• Assist in creating tax guides, educational materials, and legal guidelines to improve taxpayer understanding.

Qualifications & Experience

• Degree: LLB
• Experience: Minimum 5 years in a revenue-related legal environment
