The Ministry of Health, with support from the CDC, is hiring for an exciting role under the project “Strengthening Ministry of Health’s Capacity for HIV Diagnosis, Treatment, and Monitoring in Lesotho.” Here’s what you need to know:
Position: Point-of-Care (POC) Quality Officer
Location: Maseru
Reports To: Laboratory Quality Assurance Manager

Join Now- Set up and follow quality and safety rules at testing sites.
- Prepare and distribute materials for external quality assessments.
- Review and report on data for EQC and PPT testing.
- Train and support non-lab health workers on POC testing.
- Visit sites to monitor performance and provide feedback.
- Prepare reports and share findings with managers.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Biomedical Science, Medical Laboratory Science, or a similar field.
- At least 3 years of lab experience.
Duration: 9 months, with possible renewal depending on funding.
